How to request fabric samples from Jhih Cheng Non-Woven — what to include, what you'll receive, and how we confirm specs

Requesting Samples

We supply samples in roll-cut form for stitch-bonded, needle-punched, spunlace, PP spunbond, and lining non-woven fabrics. Samples are prepared to match your intended application — filtration, hygiene/medical, or automotive interior — so we ask for basic specs upfront to avoid multiple rounds of back-and-forth.

Information We Need From You

  • Target GSM (fabric weight) or acceptable range
  • Fiber composition or blend preference, if known
  • Finish requirements: acrylic hardening, flame-retardant, water-repellent, or none
  • Roll width or cut size needed for your testing equipment
  • End application (filter media, medical substrate, seat/interior lining, etc.)
  • Quantity of samples needed and shipping destination

If you don't have exact specs yet, share your end-use requirement and we'll recommend a starting point from our current stitch-bonded or needle-punched product range for evaluation.

Standard vs. Custom Samples

Standard samples are pulled from our regular production range across 20 stitch-bonding lines and our needle-punched, spunlace, PP spunbond, and lining fabric offerings. These are the fastest to arrange since no new setup is required.

Custom samples — new GSM, fiber blend, or finish combinations — require a short development step before we can cut and ship. We'll confirm feasibility and timeline once we understand your target spec, since custom development lead time varies by complexity.

Quality Consistency

Every sample batch goes through the same batch consistency checks used in bulk production, so what you test is representative of what you'd receive in a production order — not a hand-picked showpiece.

Certifications & Documentation

We operate under ISO 9001 and IATF 16949:2016, and hold GRS certification for recycled-content material lines. A D-U-N-S number is available for buyer verification and onboarding. Relevant certification documents can be provided alongside your sample shipment on request.

Shipping & Cost

Sample shipping terms (courier account, prepaid, or freight collect) and any applicable sample costs are confirmed per request, based on quantity, material type, and destination. Please specify your preferred shipping method when submitting your inquiry.

Sample-to-Bulk Transition

Once a sample is approved, we carry over the confirmed spec sheet directly into the production order to avoid re-specification errors. Our team, based at our Tamsui, New Taipei facility, works directly with converters to keep this handoff traceable from sample to shipment.
