Global Partners: Distributor & Converter Program

Direct-from-mill partnership with 31 years of stitch-bonded non-woven manufacturing, full traceability, and dedicated te

Why Converters Partner Directly With Jhih Cheng

Jhih Cheng Non-Woven has been manufacturing stitch-bonded and needle-punched non-wovens in New Taipei City, Taiwan for 31 years. We operate 20 Karl Mayer Maliwatt stitch-bonding lines, giving us the largest stitch-bonded capacity in the Taiwan market, and we sell in roll form directly to converters rather than through multiple layers of trading intermediaries.

This direct relationship means shorter communication chains, faster technical response when a converter needs a spec change or troubleshooting on a run, and full batch-level traceability back to the fiber and finishing stage. For distributors and converters managing their own end-customer relationships, this translates into more predictable lead times and fewer surprises when quality questions come up downstream.

Certifications & Quality Assurance

Our quality and compliance framework is built for partners who need to pass certification audits down their own supply chain, particularly in automotive and medical-adjacent segments. Batch consistency is checked as a standard part of our process, not an optional add-on, so partners reordering the same spec can expect repeatable weight, thickness, and performance across production lots.

CertificationRelevance to Partners
ISO 9001Documented quality management system covering production and inspection
IATF 16949:2016Automotive-grade quality system, relevant for seat fabric, sound insulation, and filter converters
GRS (Global Recycled Standard)Supports partners marketing recycled-content products to sustainability-conscious end customers
D-U-N-S NumberVerifiable business identity for partner onboarding and procurement compliance checks

Production Capacity & Supply Flexibility

Annual capacity runs between 500 and 2,000 tons, covering stitch-bonded non-woven as our core product line, plus needle-punched, hydroentangled, PP spunbond, and lining fabric supplied through our sourcing network. All products ship in roll form, sized to fit standard converter line setups.

Beyond standard specs, we support custom development on weight, fiber blend ratio, and finishing treatment, including acrylic hardening, flame retardant, and waterproof finishes. This is where our two-track positioning matters for partners: some accounts need a high-performance, certified spec for automotive or filtration applications, while others need a cost-competitive, stable-supply option for high-volume hygiene or general industrial use. We run both models from the same 20-line stitch-bonding base, so partners are not forced to choose between price and reliability.

Partnership Terms & Onboarding

  • Direct mill-to-converter pricing structure, with volume tiers based on annual roll-order commitments
  • Custom spec development available for weight, fiber blend, and finishing treatment on qualifying order volumes
  • Batch traceability records provided on request for audits and end-customer quality claims
  • Technical support available directly from our production team for troubleshooting on converter lines
  • Roll specifications (width, core, weight) coordinated to match partner equipment before first production run

We work with a limited number of partners per region to keep technical support responsive rather than spreading thin across a large distributor network. Inquiries should include target application, expected annual volume, and any certification requirements so we can confirm fit before quoting.
