Certifications & Quality Standards
Verifiable credentials covering quality management, automotive supply chains, and recycled content — not just claims.
Why These Certifications Matter to Buyers
For procurement teams sourcing non-woven fabrics, certifications are not paperwork — they are proof that a supplier's process, traceability, and business identity can be independently verified before an order is placed. Jhih Cheng Non-Woven holds four core certifications, each addressing a different stage of buyer due diligence: quality control, automotive supply chain compliance, recycled material verification, and corporate identity confirmation.
We do not list certifications we do not hold. Our current scope is ISO 9001, IATF 16949:2016, GRS, and D-U-N-S. If your project requires a certification outside this list, we can confirm feasibility and timeline before quoting.
Certification Scope Overview
| Certification | Primary Purpose | Relevant To |
|---|---|---|
| ISO 9001 | Quality management system across production and inspection | All product lines, all buyers |
| IATF 16949:2016 | Automotive industry quality requirements | Automotive interior, sound insulation, filtration converters |
| GRS | Chain-of-custody verification for recycled content | Buyers with recycled-material sourcing requirements or ESG reporting |
| D-U-N-S Number | Business identity and financial verification | Procurement teams conducting supplier onboarding checks |
Quality Control Beyond Certification
Certification confirms our system exists; batch consistency confirms it works. Every production run undergoes batch-level inspection before shipment, and our 20 dedicated stitch-bonding lines allow us to maintain consistent weight, thickness, and bonding strength across repeat orders — a point buyers can verify through sample retesting on receipt.
Because we manufacture in-house rather than through subcontracted converters, certification scope and quality control apply directly to the material you receive, not to an intermediary layer between us and the mill.
Requesting Certificate Copies
Certificate copies, scope statements, and — where applicable — GRS transaction certificates for specific orders can be provided on request during the quotation stage. This allows your quality or compliance team to complete supplier verification before a purchase order is issued, rather than after.
